  • commencement haemodialysis for patients with end-stage renal failure
  • established haemodialysis for in-patients with other medical conditions
  • haemodialysis for patients requiring special treatments (eg blood transfusions, iron infusions, ultrafiltration)
  • remote haemodialysis for critically ill patients located in wards other than Nephrology
  • plasma exchange for auto-immune disorders and ABO incompatible transplantation
  • on call for out-of-hours emergency acute haemodialysis
