Our Supporters

Two groups - Dialysis Support Group and NephFriends - hold events to support dialysis patients and the work of North West Dialysis Service.

Dialysis Support Group Anita Narduzzo, the President of this group is a past transplant patient.  Following her successful transplant she established this group, committing the hours she previously spent on dialysis each week, to help other dialysis patients. Running a number of events each year such as a dinner dance, film nights and other fundraising events.  Items such as Christmas packs for patients including rugs, back scratchers, hand and body moisturisers, etc, and a new television system for the enjoyment of patients whilst dialysing at Broadmeadows are just two large items which have been purchased with their raised funds. Neph Friends Established in 1999 by Mark and Jeanette Belcher to support Nephrology, this group has, through hard work and dedication, funded various pieces of equipment totalling in excess of $20,000 each year. Always looking for new ideas this group plays a vital role in the fundraising for their chosen area of support.
