Dialysis Support Group
Anita Narduzzo, the President of this group, is a past transplant patient. Following her successful transplant she established this group, committing the hours she previously spent on dialysis each week, to help other dialysis patients.
Established in 2000, the group runs a number of events each year, such as a dinner dance, film nights and other fundraising activities. Items such as Christmas packs for patients including rugs, back scratchers, hand and body moisturisers, etc, and a new television system for the enjoyment of patients whilst dialysing are just two items which have been purchased with their raised funds.
